Starter cord snapped on the 66 once and managed to punch myself in the face and split my lip wide open against my teeth, not funny at the time

I dropped a 5 ton ash tree onto my 66 once, pushed it a foot into the ground, still punching myself in the face now!

What's this thread about ? When I was a lad I worked at a woodyard and we were fetching some timber in for cutting. I slid a length onto the wagon and the boss was supposed to get the other end and pull. I let go and it was not far enough on so it lifted and hit him causing a severe graze on his old man which he had to have bandaged for a few days causing him great embarrassment ans us much amusement.

I think this thread is a bizarre mishap and maybe should be closed!

At least a bit of spring cleaning.

Would it really hurt to keep personal issues away from the publicity of a forum?

I know it can be difficult, but if someone annoys you to the extent of wanting to flame them, why not just put them on ignore. It does help - i have a couple of people that are blissfully no longer read & there is no friction as a result :)

Picked up a big log with my little sappie, just as it was shoulder height going on the top of the load, the log dropped off and my sappie came back and the square end clouted my on my eye socket.

I wasnt far from home,so mrs oldwoodcutter put some frozen peas on it but still took over an hour to stop bleeding.
