Good point.

 

I wonder if it was the law to have a certificate to use any saw, whether it would stop so many being stolen. As in, if the cops saw you using one and you didn't have quals, you could get done, bit like a driving licence.

Like using a mobile phone while driving you mean - nobody does now that they brought a law in...

 

We could all have tatooed ID numbers on our foreheads so the cops walking around gardens and woods would be able to check online whether we were qualified before busting us :)

I was thinking more on the lines of a microchip embedded in our necks so we can be scanned. A tattoo on the forehead would be unsightly!
