Cheers stubby I hope so. I've only really just started 3-4 years ago.

 

I much prefer removals to pruning, with removals you can get stuck in and know when you have finished, pruning is so much more subjective, its easy for the customer to want just a bit more off:001_rolleyes:

 

 

 

And they never tell you while your up the tree, they always wait till you have come down, taken your gear off and put your rope away :thumbdown:

 

 

What are you favourite species to dismantle though? When I was doing ground arb work I used to hate a cherry dismantle. Nightmare to chip and clear up! Birch was always my favourite to work with, can stack up the brash nicely and carry loads at one time.

Did a job in Yeovil once, very big council estate , brief was to fell everything as fast as possible and not to worry about any structures, it was great, lots of very large Maccies just boshed over, best job ever.

Watching someone else top a conifer hedge for me. ;-)

Really like storm damage work as it's always difficult and normally a real thinking job to do safely

Sunday ... !!! i don't mind Sunday work, i like it, gets me out the house, this job went on for a week or two, very big estate, we also put up the 5837 fencing , it was one of the best jobs ever, fell and leave as it fell, SSDC, :thumbup1:
