We brought a tidy (looking) ex council, low mileage (66K) 3.5 ton iveco just over 6 months ago for £7000.

We put a back on it £1,200 then the clutch went £900 now the engine has blown..:mad1:

What would you do?

Stick a replacement engine in from a scrapped vehicle £2400 (30 day warranty)

Rebuild the current engine £4000 (12 month warranty)

Bin it and start again with another truck?

Early Iveco. Bag of shite. Had one that ate injectors for breakfast, glow plugs, relays, wiring, warning lights on and off, even ABS even though mine didn't have it! Spent several thousands of pounds just keeping it going, with all the downtime off work for days on end and all spares having to come from main dealer (Norfolk Trucks) they nearly bankrupted my business.
