Have you considered either V6 or V8 Overfinch Range Rover, very nice inside and out, the V6 is only £230 RFL where the V8 is £500.

last year I took delivery of a RR on behalf of one of my clients because they were away and had been waiting 8 months for delivery it cost a lot of money but even the mud flaps were extra

And yet again, just to set the record straight, JAPANESE MOTORS ARE JUST AS UNRELIABLE AS LANDROVERS. Oh, and he wants some refinement, not something to hack around africa in.

I had a D3 V8, from new and it didn't miss a beat (except the usual EPB issue). But as Jon said, I wouldn't buy one without a warranty. Cdo

Slightly off but why not go petrol, if you want a V8 ranger rover.

 

Car will be less as people don't seem to want to petrol models, fuel cost works out about the same and they sound awesome! Just don't get LPG, it will be a world of trouble.
