Cheers, Southern Vehicle Bodies (used to be truckcom) down near Brighton. They are very good that's our third one off them and they do Connick's down here as well and their trucks always look pretty smart

What sort of money is a back like that Jay? Is it alloy?

The sides are a type of hardened ply, can't remember the name of it and the rest is alloy and steel. Price wise I think it was around £5.5k + vat. The older one is around 9 years old and has been used and abused and is still standing...just!

Very nice landy there. Was that from southern vehicle bodies? Our first body has been on the old truck for about 9 years and it's been abused!

Yes it was from Tony at Southern vehicle bodies.

He's only about 6 miles from me so quite handy really.

I reckon 9 years is pretty good considering the abuse they generally get.

I'm looking at getting one of these. Looking at its MOT history it failed on emissions then passed. Anyone got any ideas what it could be before I question him?

Probably the test centre didn't warm the engine enough.

I've had numerous failures on emissions. Never had to do anything more than take the vehicle for a good run to warm the engine up properly. In fact twice I've picked up the motor, drove six or seven miles and straight back to the test centre and passed easily.
