I had microdots put on my Stihl equipment under the scheme they sponsored last year and they are registered on a datatag database but am interested in having a liquid marker for the firm's equipment, any recommendations?

Smartwater do a kit for small business one off payment 5 year licence , there are other systems so shop around , i feel its well worth the money just as a deterrent .

Thanks. They seem to have a strange pricing policy, £118 for a kit to mark 300 items (marking just once in one place?) but £408 for a kit for 600.

Generally stolen saws etc already have a new home before there nicked and you tend to find that the people that buy them know damn well there stolen so aren't gonna be worried about a few numbers or marks there's a few arb outfits local to us that have openly admitted that they own stolen saws chippers etc and they really don't seem to give a damn..... Oddly their also the same guys that never seem have anything stolen!

Don't need your postcode, but what part of the country are you?
