Or use a decent grinder, looks like it would of taken about 20 mins with an HB20 :)

You show me a HB20 grinding over 2 feet straight down in a solid concrete planter and i might start to believe you. (the photo is not of the final depth)

HB20 is probably a great grinder there, but they are a dangerous liability here. They hate steps, are narrow and top heavy and do more rolls than the RAF in the battle of britain

The trees had been in a tight space for quite a while, ground was heavily compacted like I had never seen, thats one of about 7 we did that day.

They couldnt have been dug out as the hole was little more than stump, trust me it was tried!

That chainsaw grinder only has bearings on one side of the cutting wheel so can get into spaces and grind up to objects like no other grinder I have used.heres it getting around a steel stake we found with a bigger grinder in the centre of a gum stump

Taken a while ago. Not really stump grinding more concrete grinding.

Stump grinder vs reinforced concrete post.

The teeth were worn and ready to discard but received a bit of a sharpen. They went on to do few more stumps after this.

The post was in the way of a new fence - another "while you are here, can you just.....".
