A good set of waterproofs and it aint as bad as all that. All ways seems worse outdide when you are inside, once you get out in it, its not that bad. Wont bother if its torrential unless its got to get done.

 

Bollox to water proofs . Too bulky and too hot . It has been said before " If your not wet your not working " ( Marc Odin MJO Forestry 1998 ) :biggrin:

It's pretty job specific.

Big slippy trees take longer if its lashing down, so does clearing up etc., so you don't make as much money.

We try and do smaller jobs, hedges etc.

If its set in all day there's always the log yard.

I enjoy my job and want it to stay that way, so will not go out in the heavy rain no point in working for myself and being proper miserable all day.

We will make sure all the kit is clean and sharp on wet days.

If we have started a job and it rains we get wet and finish it.
