4x4 small van

...avoid a Suzuki Jimny, since it isn't a van!

What's your problem? It's a proven machine as a light weight 4x4 and is often used as a vehicle for work. It's cost effective, they're affordable and unlike the kangoo 4x4 still available in the UK.

Or do you want an appointment for the day after monday next week??

I don't have a problem. It's you who seems to be getting defensive. The OP asked about a 4x4 Van, and I merely pointed out that the Jimny is not a van.

I have no doubt it's a very capable small off road vehicle, but I imagine the reason people but vans is for storage space in the back, of which there is little in a Jimny.

I'm not sure about your last comment, but if you'd like to argue further, you'll have to find someone else. It's Friday afternoon, and I ain't rising to it :)

And at least with a van your be covered to use it for work. Not to sure if your be insured on something like the jimny ok i guess if its classed as a commercial.

Make and model have nothing to do with insurance you can insure any car for work.

Yeah thats what i thought when i got stopped for carrying my garden kit in my car as it was only insured for domestic and social use not business. If using a car and you have a business policy sorted.Your private policy might not even cover you to go to the bank post office even going to a training course so best check.

Hi all

thanks for your input, yes would prefer small van, although a boarded out jimmy is a good idear, bit to small for my use.

The FC used to use the kangoo 4x4, but trying to see what else is out there.

I need it to be a similar size to a kangoo, Peugeot partner type van though.

many thanks

tree
