Why is it not fair???

Should the wealthy be charged more for goods and services, just because they have more??:confused1:

They often use less public services than the less well off, as they often have private health care, privately educate their children, etc.

IMO they pay more than their fair share, to expect them to pay the same percentage as those on much lower earnings is ridiculous IMO.

More Huck tosh!

I've got a brother that as done quite well for himself, Infact very well. Both his kids went to state ran schools, never used private health care, yet he's earned a fortune more than I ever will...... And on the whole pays less tax than most do.

When they sold out the major share holder was paid EIGHT Million GBP with on payments of £400k a year! The first thing he wanted to know was how he could avoid the tax on it... Greed pure greed!

If we were all taxed at sourced the country would be a whole lot better off. Instead we all employ accountants to save us tax, just because its within the law don't make it right. Look at MP,s expenses.

Agreed Two Acres! Eggs but the guy has created that money and will no doubt invest it , perhaps employing people, and create more wealth. What would have happened if he'd have paid most of it in tax?

Create more wealth for who! Not the poor feckers who are driving recovery lorries day and night for £9-12 an hour I'm sure.

I'm not sad or bitter. I'm the first one to congratulate anyone that as worked hard and succeeded. I just don't like the greed, look after your own sort of attitude. Let's hope you and yours never fall on hard times!

David Cameron was on tv last night and he mentioned 'the dignity of work'. Thats a good concept; however with businesses using zero hours contracts, low pay, and the neccesity of the Tax Credits system its no longer a 'given'.
