It's a bit like the speeding laws, and the used dipped headlights when raining laws, nobody abides by them

 

The misuse of headlights must wind me up more than anything else on the road. Seeing people driving around in the rain with wipers on and no lights or just sidelights on. Tossers. Sidelights ought to be called parking lights as that is the only time they are useful. They make f-all difference to safety from the front. You are no more visible with sidelights than without lights on at all:mad1::mad1:

I have even heard of people saying they were trying to save electric/ bulbs etc etc. Total and utter sh it. If you need your wipers, you need dipped headlights. End of.
