Yep takes about a month to work but I've gone from 5 nuisance calls a day to one a week...

 

If any UK firm carry on calling as soon as you say I am TPS registered & if you call again I will report you they really do stop...{IMHO.}

My wifes trick is to say I will just get my husband, put the phone down for a while then say he won't be long, repeat this for as long as they will stay on the line. Some are very patient but eventually twig. Quite funny to hear them get more woundup as time passes.

You have a fault with your computer please turn it on is another. I think she kept the last one for 1/2 hour. Any unsolicited calls especially from India get the same treatment if we have time.

It was the 'you are due compensation from a recent accident ' person I kept going for a while. But then went all Mr paranoid conspiracy theories voices in the walls on them. Soon told me I was beyond her help and hung up, never had another call as I think I'm down as "nutter do not call" on the system. Twas very funny for all in van as had it on speaker ;-)

Just gone on TPS website to report a number re Life Insurance and it appears I am no longer registered.
