Who owns land?

How do you find out who owns a piece of land ? i have tried land registry but it mite as well be in Chinese.

What does the Land Reg say? Find the title number, then look for register view and look at the Title Absolute. If there's no title number then feel free to cry into your hand.

if its unregistered throw a fence up around it. that should bring any knowing owner out of the woodwork, if no-one comes forward after twelve years you can claim it through adverse possession.

Put up a for sale sign with your phone number. You'll find out pretty quick then !!
