I recently switched to Safe Eyes (thank you Clarks), and think they are the best thing I've used.

Flip onto my lid easily when not in use, and my eyes have been crud-free.

You can also unleash a massive grolly when you get dust in your throat.

Don't do that with your visor down, s'not a great look....

Why wear them at all? if you have a mesh visor that should be enough.

youre right - where you and i are going wrong is that we are spraying the sawdust away from ourselves, and probably across wind so it cant eddy back. doh!

See my post Hodge, I've had the same problems, and the mesh goggles that Clarkes sell are the best thing I've used so far. Just don't look up in the rain.

Just ordered some. Cheers Joe.

Closing your eyes helps:001_smile:. I was doing a decent size oak this week in high winds.

Didn't seem to matter where I was, I got an eyeful.

You'll like them Hodge.

I wear mine on the loose side, straps round my Vertex Vent.

Same here, though I do find when I put them down I have to pull the straps tight.

They don't scratch, don't get lost, and don't mist up like specs. The only problem is rain.

If you don't have wood shavings in your beard, then people won't know you're a big bad tree cutter!
