I have a Landrover Defender 130 Tipper, I've had it 5 years and it has never once broke down, it gets worked hard and is serviced regularly, any reversing I do I do in low box.

Landrovers break down due to lack of maintainance :001_smile:

Ditto.

As for lack of space Dean, have you thought about a cab roofrack, mine is invaluable when chip box is loaded. Also, given that you have a 130 do you not have space between the rear wheels and the cab, or is your tipper pump there. I have seen a few with army surplus long ammo boxes bolted in there, which hold a fair bit of kit. Or get your welder out and custom build one. I only have a 110 so there isnt quite the room.

I'd love a Mog but we do 80 miles a day and a mog would'nt put up with that for long. Plus I dread to think how much ribena it'd drink. Whatever I get it'll be a 3.5 tonner, it just suits the way we work. The question is which one.

Does anyone know wether a landrover tdci clutch will go in the transits?

I was thinking of having a box built under the tipper floor between the back of the cab and the rear wheels incorporating the wheel arch so that one side of the box becomes the front of the rear mud guard, just waiting till I have some spare cash to have a tipper bed made :001_smile:

Sweeeet. I want to make a carrier for rakes etc between the rails of the tipper floor, with the numberplate on a strong metal fold down plate to act as the rear 'door'.
