Conifer dismantle

Old Friend of 75 started this small conifer a while back. It got a little to much for him and asked if I'd come down to finish it of. I made a few editing mistakes and I have no idea how the real guys make it cool as fook.. Anyway 50 minutes work made a 15 minute video! With a coupe of tunes thrown in there.

 

Stripped the brash with the 150tc then chugged the wood of with the 346xp enjoy as much as you can haaaa!

Does what it says on the Tin..good video. I love the Prodigy. The 150 really is in its element on things like stripping out frith and small branches....just you being in it makes it cool Adam;) and that sexy looking Roperunner!

Oh and I'm stealing the technique with the long tailed running bowline chogging down the stem.

Thanks guys, yes wally is a true work horse. Probably still out run most young ones

 

The alpine tie is the fastest by far way to tie it any other way now just seems a pain in the butt.

 

The running bowline with long is ok, there's quicker ways of setting a timber measuring tail, I just used that as one example.

 

The rope runner is a thing of beauty Paul, very easy to get acquainted with, but it's never going to compete with a hitch. Well for me IMO for now anyway

 

The 150tc is a cracking saw, worth its weight in gold as they say. Forget pruning! It's on every job I go to. If I need a big saw to start I just pick up the 346

Hi,totally agree the little Stihl is a cracking saw and it weight is it plus point too ,without hijacking you post I have this little 20sec clip showing its capabilities and not just a pruning saw.
