Hi all,

Hope everyone had a good Xmas and new year,

560 & 395 are still going like beauty's, very pleased with them both, I'm looking for some recent up to date feedback on a good middle saw.

I did own a 372 a while back but sold to my mate who needed a bigger saw.

Question is stick with what I know to fill gap ie 372 or are the later/newer 576's any good?

After a saw to pull 24" so can keep 15-18 for 560 & 36" for 395.

Not to bothered with stihl as like to keep bars & chains compatable.

Thanks

Josh

Iv'e used a 576xp, mostly for crosscutting big timber. Its a cracking saw, easily pulls a 3/8th chain on 24 inch bar :)

I have used both and prefer the 372 ( pre Xtorqu ) but ported by Spud .

The 576XP is only available with generation 1 auto tune in the uk, cant plug it into the tool or change the software.

I could never see the point of 575/576 . No more power than a 372 and almost as much weight as a 385 .

575 was a bit of a disaster, 576 is a better saw and my choice over the 372.

Whys that mate? 576 is only a tad lighter than 390
