Sorry, should have said it's the 4wd machine. Also has auxiliary hydraulics on the front (for the bucket). It will also run log splitters etc. It looks like this:

Nice old Ford that, what model is it dan?

 

I run a splitter of an old layland tractor and use the sandie for loading,stacking etc think I'm going to chop it in for a telehandler though as it will load bulkers but not the bio mass ones as there taller.

 

 

It's a Ford 4610 4wd had it 6 years ultra reliable tough old work horse, Very economical as well.

Yeah good tractor,I like international as well, my dream old bus is an international 1455xl........mmmmm

 

A telehandler is more versatile though imo.

We run a Fendt 304 ls 1985 with quickie 720 loader lifts potato boxs full of log easy.

And has out lifted a JD 6400 with Stoll loader when moving pack of fencing stacks on site.

If you need to load high trailers toe tip bucket.

Love the old Atkinson, Borderer I assume or perhaps a Searcher if a rigid. Looks on good nick as well.

Bit thirsty on a splitter though, sounds lovely and no engine rebuild at 5000/7000 hours when Ford blocks tend to go porous.

Yeah they do sound nice, sod the diesel! Only trouble with ford's is the porous blocks.
