Storing chainsaw helmets

You're probably going to be limited because it is in a car boot. In the vans we have hanging hooks (or did have - another little job to do). In a car you're stuck with a rigid receptacle of some sort, sourced to fit the helmet in. I used to use a bottle recycling bin, about half the size of a banana box, in which my climbing kit went in with the helmet on top. Times gone on, shiny stuff has been added and I don't have a car boot anymore to transport kit in.

PPE is so important. And your lid protects a very fragile part of your body. When my lid is not hanging in the bag I got it with and up a height it's on the seat next to me.

 

When mine is not on my head it is on the seat like silky boy right next to me + a spare behind my seat :001_smile:
