I have bought a LDV tipper haha - need a mega quick method that is CHEAP to make a chip box.

Not got a clue about how to go about it, other than I think 12mm ply is the way to go. :001_smile::001_smile::001_smile::001_smile:

Gis a idea will you

I made one out of ply and 50x75mm treated pine, with a 1/3 roof made of ply (not in this photo) which is hinged so gets propped up when chpping. Bolted to existing side boards. Works okay but will still more expensive than I thought, and not really big enough. I would have made it higher but the headboard didn't allow.

Three sheets of 18mm ply and some screws/bolts etc is the cheapest and quickest way. £150 sold do it.

:001_huh: Your posh!!! I used to use a ratchet strap up and over the top
