Sacked it when i looked out the window this am. We had a big leaning oak take down with no access in a muddy bog hole so good call here i think. Dead wooding a wood land tomorrow (don't ask!) so don't care what it's doing tomorrow ;)

We lifted 20 road side limes... Get some decent wet weather gear and if it's safe.. get on with it.. The sun came out for about 10 mins at 2 o'clock. I dress head to toe in gortex and will stay pretty dry whatever the weather. Excluding your arms which are soaked every time you decend.. At least it's not cold and you can feel your fingers.

I know you council guys consider it work, but us self employed types don't class sitting in the cab drinking tea work! we've all seen you council boys parked up in a layby, flasks steaming up the windscreen, scoffing sarnies and reading the paper.....:corkysm21:

dimantled 5 50ft ash ..... not to bad really as they all got blown to the chipper in the high wind and saved loads of time!..i need the money so have no choice but to get soaked and get blown around stems on my spikes....... i quite enjoy beating the weather and picking up the cheque for work done dont think my groundy does......
