Just done a speed awareness course, 37 in a 30. Anyhoo I learnt that the legal limit for a transit on a national speed limit road is 50mph and 60mph on a duel carriageway. This was news to me, did anyone else know this?

50 & 60mph for vans. However, if its a campervan then its same as a car. They need to update this as vans are exactly same as cars nowadays. They can go same speeds and are just as safe.

I'd pay attention when you go to another speed awareness course because you're talking carp buddy

Not true.

Commercial vehicles such as vans, pickups etc are limited to 50mph on single carriageways and 60mph on duals. I know this to be true as they've recently average speed cameraed the A9, so we all have to know our limits up here.

So an estate car with no rear windows and thus classed as a commercial is restricted?:confused1:

I always thought it was any commercial over 7.5t or towing, same for third/fourth lane on Mway.

An average speed camera route applies to all vehicles anything under 3.5 ton can do 70 on motorways/duel carriageways and 60 on national speed limits, please correct me with facts because I'm actually finding this crazy
