See quite a few episodes and i don't think that i've see one where profits made would cover Ed's labour costs. Great seeing the restoration though. Ed knows his stuff.

Seen a few where they made a few grand profit and a few more where they doubled their initial outlay. I reckon they make the real money in marketing the series.

The point of wheeler dealers is to save the cars, as when mike buys them there normally well aboused, yer edd does a fantastic job fixing up the motors like the 50p bolt that saved the audi tt gearbox etc but it's good team work as mike is out there finding the motors & running about getting parts for them so edd can stay at the workshop, I think the profit is only for the kitty not there wages as the TV programme is paying that,

Wheeler Dealer Trading Up is also good he stats out with a cheep 1000 doller ford falcon in aus and trades around the world ending up with a 40k 348 but again all profit went in the kitty not on air fairs etc
