+1 for the 372, unless Santa could stretch to a 390?!

I'm in this position I'm thinking a 576 then I though a few more quid then I could get a 390 then it's only a few more quid for the 395 the next thing I'm looking at is a £250 difference :laugh1:

I don't think the op will be disappointed with any of these saws I'd go for whatever is the best priced and aftercare

Asking for thoughts on a piece of equipment A or B or C, is always a good read. As it invariably turns into E or F or G and H are better. Asking whether the OP should aim at manufacturer S' or H' or E' or D' or M', and similar happens. Someone is bound to mention Silky.

For me the 576 seemed pointless . Miniscule amount more power than a 372 but a lot extra weight . Nearly as heavy as a 385 but not as much power as a 385 .

+ another for 372 or 390 here also, 576 seems like lipstick on a pig

The funny thing is that I hearing the 372 and 461 a lot yet my local dealer yesterday was pushing the 441 . He recommended not to go for the 461 and didn't even mention the 372 !

Is your local dealer on the tools daily or a salesman?

Which one do you think he has a harder time shifting? :sneaky2: The 441, which has very mixed reviews, or the 461, which i don't think I've heard a bad thing said about it, only that its awesome.

The 441 seems a bit pointless now the 461 is out
