From the looks of the picture it will be a nice climb once past the dead ivy, it looks like you will be able to rig the back side over the river and bosh the front in appropriate sizes, get a backup climber Encase you can't handle it but start it yourself. The only way your going to get experience on bigger trees is to get stuck in!

Can't give to much advise on it really to many variables, but what I would say is if this is your first big and all difficult job do what you can to make it yours even if you get contract climber and have to even get two. But don't give it away. Man up and handle it yourself. You know deep down you can deal with it and when done and you see it through it builds your confidence to tackle the next bid difficult job.

 this^^^, whatever trade. You won't "get on" else.

I've been asked to quote for dismantling this beech tree and if I'm honest it's a bit trickier than anything I've taken on before. The right hand half is over a river just out of shot on the left is a building. Has good access for mewp. I'm thinking either get a contract climber in, hire a mewp or pass the job on to one of the larger local firms. Any thoughts? Thanks

Just ask on here you'll get a few different answers but will give you good idea what the ball lark quote will be, it just depends which way you plan to deal with it.
