His and Hers fires...................

just has the title says we have had a battle this week with HER new fire being fitted and me refusing to back down on on losing the stove.

 

Outcome is we now have are own rooms downstairs ,its a no brainer for me and the stove and endless supply of free wood to HER gas fire which has cost a small fortune (my funds to renovate my old David Brown gone ).

 

To me there is only one winner bottom picture

If it's of any consolation, I believe that what you describe above can be legally described as 'irreconcilable differences' in a court of law.

Fake logs, fake bricks, fake fire!

 

What was she thinking! Does it actually give off much heat? My inlaws bought a electric flame effect fire, only 4kw?

 

My friend has one of those in his living room, you may as well have a painting :thumbdown:

unfortunately it does have a remote control,been told it costs 8p hour ,,,hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

No chance. Real world figures include Depreciation. Annual safety check/test. Batteries.Gas 8p a hour that can only be a farts worth.
