kinda figured but we were quite impressed with it on site not bad as the fire was about 25m away

Took down a dead birch many years ago, burnt the brush onsite and took the log away, I cant remember how we noticed but had to stop half way back to put the back of the truck out.

impressed with this Swiss burning method that was pointed out in another thread on this forum.

I have used it 3 weeks tops and am at 85% fire start sucess but getting better all the time. Cannot say thanks enough to a fellow poster for pointing it out. It saves me a huge amoount of fire setting time and even other family members can start the fire reliably. Have used paper only once to move things along quicker.
