I stood bare foot on a brand new splitting maul..right on the sharp tip of the cutting face...nearly took the whole front section of my foot off! but that,s another story.

Fm I bet that hurt. I remember my mate getting 020t rash right across his forearm, proper opened him up and 25 stitches later, he was very lucky the saw was on run down and not on full chat.

Sooooo I may have knelt on an axe and I may have severed two arteries in the process.... Two internal and four external stitches later, Jesus did it bleed!

Dinked my knee with an axe last week, literally just like 'oh that felt like it hit me' .. carried on working for a wee bit and was like 'hmm I'd better check that' .. ended up being a gash twice the length of that down to the bone gaping at me with all the few layers of muscle .. didn't bleed at all at the time but when getting it stitched up they nicked an artery and a big jet of blood everywhere :D
