Had it painted in RealTree. Good isn't it?

Most of my photos are taken from the drivers seat.......

I drag brash, feed the chipper, and carry logs with it.

Do you think a rubber tracked mini digger with grab could perform the same role as a mini loader day to day ? I've a lot of experience on diggers but little with articulated loaders so unsure where they would excel, other than long drags.

They're great at loading if the truck is right next to the cord, and in a tight situation.

Too slow for "forwarding" plus a lot of lawn damage.

Here's my Takeuchi.

Mini digger plus a little forwarding trailer could work well on some jobs.

In an ideal world Id have one of everything.

But if you can only have one or one first then the loader ?

Mick, do you do any ground work with your digger or just use it for tree stuff ?

Probably yes, but it depends what on your business and the type of work etc. I can get the loader and tracked chipper on one trailer which is very useful for me.

There is a bit of overlap between the two machines, the loader is faster travel speed, great for loading stuff with a big bucket, raking or sweeping with a big brush. It will also run an auger or post driver, but then so would a digger.

The digger is obviously the tool if you want to actually dig with it.
