The lottery,,20 years old, what have you won

Nevermind the personal winnings (never won on lotto but had plenty on scratch cards), just think of all the heritage we've saved as a result of the Heritage Lottery Fund. Having been persoanally involved in a £3.2m historic garden restoration project with an arb contract of over £380,000 and about to be involved in a c£1m restoration project I know at first hand what the lottery can do for our historic monuments, parks, gardens and other sites which, without that money would either still be on the English Heritage "At Risk" register or be lost already.

Keep on spending guys; your saving our history and paying my wages

Won a few prizes under £5. But the worst was when I had a new card and imputed the card's new number, when there was £8.10 still in my account. After Camalot had accepted the new card details, my £8.10 had disappeared. Contacted Camalot and they denied all knowledge of stealing my £8.10.
