Put a vent in wall close to ceiling in kitchen where stove is connected to inline fan switched on/off by room stat , ducted to sitting room. Don't know why but results were disappointing, 100mm ducting maybe too small, only a short run aswell😠

Thought it was you that had one Jon, just wasn't sure. Do they move the heat into other rooms like the OP wants?

 

They certainly do. When I've stayed at Jons in the past, ive opened the bedroom door to be hit by a wall of heat......... I was really surprised how well the fan does work, oh and I fell in the fireplace and bent it one night.:blushing: That Ciders funny old stuff!
