Poppy boxes?

trouble is ,the poppy sellers are getting older and dieing off.If you struggle to find a poppy box locally it would be great if you could volunteer a bit of time to the legion,as the next generation,my wife sells poppies around the doors as a tribute to her war dead.

Just been to get the papers and there on the counter is a box:blushing:

There were loads of lads in Wrexham over weekend

But it is a garrison town

A lot of people use Facebook now by posting a picture or changing there profile pic to a poppy .

Terrible. Surely in a busy place, with witnesses, someone should or could have tackled the offender to the ground...

Yes you would hope so, far to many people are afraid to get involved perticulaly if the offender appears to be of a certain race! This seems to have been a premeditated attack as the offender was carrying the lighter fluid around with him, pitty someone didn't knock Severn bells out of him.

Attached a great big poppy to the front of my cabstar today, wearing it with pride on all my jobs! Should someone takes ofence I'm more than happy to show them how the chipper converts big things into smaller bits
