We need some one to be brave and drill the exhaust out carnt do the 86c at work not till the warrentey runs out anyway .

Or send them all to spud for porting :thumbup:

Might be off a 56? Whatever it's off it runs a million times better.

Reading between the lines then, the 86 is governed somehow and the 56 not.

I bought a new 86 the other week. It does seem a bit bunged up. The one it replaced was less than a year old though, and seemed much better. So it could just be running in as they are theoretically exactly the same model nine months apart?

 

My latest MS181 took about two months of intermittent use to really run in. Could be a 2-mix thing.

im about to buy a bg 86 so will watch this thread too

 

buy a honda blower 4 stroke no mixing and has power and cheaper than a sthil. if its anything like my strimmers will last years.

or go for a echo both better built than the sthil

Stiga have just announced a new blower. On paper at least, it produces more blow than any of the major opposition.

 

It looks good, with a sturdy base and is very cost effective.

 

When stocks arrive I will post up a some pictures and give it a review.
