Take your time getting back to work has it will do more harm ,i fell through a greenhouse glass has a 15 year old kid and had 126 stitches from my wrist to elbow ,had a tube in my arm for months to drain and severed just about everything bar my main artery .

i am 46 now and that left arm is much weaker ,

Good on you for posting regardless of other comments from folk who will break the speed limit every day and are perfect .

It reminds us all that we can take are minds of the job for seconds and pay the ultimate price .

That said, anyone who doesn't one hand a topper is still a novice climber and wouldn't cut the mustard at my company. There's a time and place for it of course, but not being able to meet production targets should also be a sackable offence.

We seem to be doing rather well without resorting to this technique.

Your asking your employees to play Russian Roulette with their saw.

YOU may find another climber tomorrow, they may not have that same fortune.

It is hardly russian roulette. Its not even dangerous when perfomed correctly

Driving without a seatbelt, not wearing a motorcycle helmet or changing a bulb from a chair instead of steps are also not dangerous when performed correctly.

I don't need such risks in my life and so buckle up, wear a lid, use steps and don't use a chainsaw one handed.

Reducing a small 15ft hornbeam tree yesterday and severed my arm with my topping saw. Ive never come across a tree with so many branches crossing each other causing so much tension and compression, this is what caught me out. Going for a operation to repair arm sunday. Just a reminder to take care out there. .:001_smile::thumbup:
