I don't mind the heat so much now.Drink diluting orange instead of water the sugar in it helps.Electrolyte good, but getting one that doesn't taste lioke sawdust helps.Oh yes and those new husqvarna type A's with the vents in are great(when the risk assessment allows!):001_cool:

if its nigh on 30 degree's he will happily kill himself working flat out all day barely stopping, and expects the same of anyone else, .

If he's grafting too then either shut up and get on or quit!!

I have no time for those who say do as I say, not do as I do.

But I have every respect for those who lead by example!!:001_cool:

The hotter the better for me! Love the sun and warmth (altho not when humid or too hot in bed at night). I've always found that the warmer it was the harder I worked - dunno why. Saying that tree work does suit cold crisp weather. Hate hate hate rain - with a passion - makes me mad!

One slight difference, the boss may be on £60 per hour, his employees £7

I'm a bit like that myself,it's a bit of a thought on a hot day to get started but it's the only way to get the job done.Every time you fill the saw fill your self!:001_cool:

Don't know about 'the South East'. Here in the Algarve we've been climbing in daily temps of 30 degrees plus since about begining of May.

My lads can wear what they want (no HSE to speak of) but opt for type C's - 'course we're back into the shorts as quick as poss. and during lunch!

Secret is (providing no underlying medical predispositions like heatstroke) plenty of water - you can't take on enough. No need for salt as there's loads of that in just about everything. And sit/park in the shade when poss.
