Indoor log storage

We have a big wicker basket that's too heavy to move when full up, with a Morso canvas log carrier inside it to collect firewood (a kind of sling with wooden handles each end). It work pretty well and holds all the bark and bits in one place.

 

The small Hessian basket if for dog toys.

Sounds awesome! Design in ease of handling systems just adds to the justified sense of satisfaction that must give you.

 

haha absolutely, although not many would take it to the point of adapting the house to suit. Had a number of people thinking I am a bit round the bend - which is probably about right - normal is boring

 

Mind you, modern houses are adapted for their heating systems, so not that far fetched then

Those scaffold winches made by who flung dung ( my saying for the week learnt it on here ) carry 200kg when doubled up and would save lots of sweat for the sake of £100

The idea is to save on the sweat eventually and for when I cant do it manually anymore. Not a problem at the mo as big bad and ugly enough to lug a few bits of wood, so been prioritising other jobs
