Whilst understanding your angst, you'll probably remember when you set up, checking Companies House to see if the name you choose was already taken. If not, away you go. Maybe he's a shyster, maybe he's a genuine guy. Can't see there's much you can actually do about it either way. Tough call.

I've just googled Truro tree surgeons (their name) and your website comes up in Yell.com, it looks good and publicises your services well. I didn't see any other Truro named firm and if anyone sees them and doesn't get the number they will google and get you instead. Get ready for the extra work coming in.

Most towns have a Special Branch or two , well two in Taunton anyhow .

If you cant find him I would not get too flustered his advertising aint that good .

Sounds like an obvious name to choose if you start a tree surgery firm in Truro!

He's not actually using your name is he? If he were called Truro Tree Service and you Truro Tree Services, (notice the s on the end) then you'd have grounds to be pee'd off IMO.

 

Brace yourself for future company's to start up called Truro Tree Care, Truro Tree Specalists, Truro Tree Work, The Truro Tree Co etc
