Looks lovely, but probably not enough leg crossing, uncrossing & foot shuffling foot space... A greater overhang would really have made it impeccable for a few course dinner with friends,family lovers etc., rather than a quick cornflakes or a bowl of soup, sort of thing. {Timewise that is.}

Lovely looking bit of work there Ian , I especially like the use of " butterfly ties " across the cracks , I use them myself sometimes but always make them black . I am planning a few tables like this myself in summer , I have all the wood ,just waiting till it is all dry enough to size, assemble and finish . Terry ...

Cheers Terry , I've got an ash bench to do next still drawing that one up tho. A few more table , mirror ideas too.
