Hello all - first post here so please be gentle!

I have about 100 tonnes of seasoned hornbeam to sell (cut winter 2012/13). It ranges from about 3 inches to 12 inches in diameter in approx 6ft lengths.

What's the best way to use this forum to sell it? Can someone point me at the best place so I can be following the rules.

Thanks in advance!

Hello both, thanks for your help.

silky fox, I have been told it could get £70/tonne. Post code is DA4 9BN and buyer collects. There's good access for an artic and that would need abiltiy to weigh of course. Happy to deal in smaller tonnages (but not too small!)

LOL, incoming! Oh mendi plugs beat me to it! I'd take it delivered at that, but I'm in Norfolk

Just out of interest, what is the delivered-in price of timber that the OP is selling in Norfolk?

Not sure to be honest, I usually fell my own or buy and process road or ride side was £44 + VAT but just hoiked price to £55 + as one of the big kids is waving lots of cash about and hoovering up. Hence £70 delivered now sounds reasonable whereas 2 year ago I'd a choked at the thought of paying that!
