I need a new blower any recommendations???

I was checking my gear this morning and my blower is bust, its a bit of a nail anyway, i only gave £40 for it, its done me proud so far but now its given up the ghost. Seized i think!

 

Im looking to buy second hand as i aint got lots of spare cash, As i lost my job last week.

 

I know all the usual suspects, Stihl, Echo, Husky but im wondering if people use anything else??

 

Seen a few Ryobi and some japanese names on ebay, Are these cheap because there crap?? Im a big believer in you get what you pay for, However just at the moment im on a tight budget.

im using stihl hand held blowers and cant fault them to be honest . we also have a back pack blower we use for bigger jobs and thats also a stihl , im told the new blowers that stihl do are meant to be even better

Ryobi - AVOID! I got given one and gave it away the same week. Have an echo hand blower - very good and a Stihl backpack blower - nice! Tanaka might be alright. Shibaura also - Jap stuff. Or just eat lots of bean vindaloo.

i have a hand held bg85 good little blower & have this massvie stihl br420 b/pack that never gets used neary brand new

Can't fault the stihl BR600,it's not cheap but my it does job.Prob out of your budget if your on a tight one.We waited 2 years after we started before we could really afford one.
