Hand-Arm Vibration – Shock Truth!

couple of points

an average saw running full out ringing up or cutting up log pile takes 35 mins to a tank full

John what testing conditions did you use for your saws and what preparation did you do to the saw

The test involved cross-cutting (lime was used).

The saws were in normal, everyday condition i.e. chains sharp and correctly tensioned. I made no special preparation, i.e. fitting new AV rubbers.

The plan is to have all equipment tested every 12 months.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear

Lordy lordy lordy

It's no wonder employers wont employ.

More little testy things and paperwork, can anyone honestly say they have had numbness in their hands after using saws?

You know when it happens, if you clap your hands straight after using something that vibrates bad it fells weird.

I'm beginning to have second thoughts about setting a groundy on the books and putting him through college

If you have a 60 tonne crane on site why are you cutting it in to 9" rings?

Got to agree there.

More reason not to employee anyone or more reason to pay them crap wages so you can hire more people or good reason to pay them crap wages because you have to get more work done to make the same money due to time wasted by doing crap.
