Saved weight on spare. No tool box on front and the steel plate the engine sits on in the 150 has gone and replaced with a engine mount design. I looked at it and am very tempted to trade my 150 in against one possibly wait for the tracked version though.

Yeah, the tracked ones looked good, wouldn't mind one in black like that road tow, or maybe that 190 with the flail

I don't like the button on the forst, it needs separate buttons for forward and reverse, nothing more annoying when you've got something stuck and u just want to reverse it

Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Same button for forward and reverse, tap once for reverse tap again for forward, very simple.

I would miss the toolbox to be honest, I have an older 150dbh with the tool box at the rear. Inside it has spare blades, every spanner and socket needed for the chipper, grease gun and spare grease etc.

When we had the 230dbh I did look for an area to mount a small plastic tool locker, not much space left.

One of the weight savings on the 230 is the fuel tank, according to the brochure the chipper uses 6 litres per hour and has an 18 litre tank. 3 hours and you have run out. I thought my quadchip tank was small at 30 ish litres.

The machine looks great, the bulk of my work seems to be conifers so the massive throat on the machine would stop me choking it I just hope it throws wet conifer better than the old 150's
