What cc is it ? My Husqvarna 545RX is 45cc and drives the Diamond Edge 4.00mm square with no guard and longer lengths .

Yea . Had to pay for a couple of quarter light windows in 2 cars and once I said bum ! :biggrin:

2.7 or maybe 3 it will big down on anything thicker IMO

 

OK Cheers, anyone know anything about the oregon flexiblade strimmer line that they recommend for their jet fit heads?

In my experience (4mm) it lasts better than round line for bump feds. I haven't tried the narrower stuff though. It may occasionally need pulling out with pliers, but apart from that it does work and last well.

The Oregon stuff is good but remember not too thick. Try the dual nylium (I think it's called that) it has an inner core and stuff round the outside. The really thick Oregon stuff is great for the jet fit as above said if you use the jet fit you need really good line or you will spend your time changing line instead of strimming !

I`ve found Oregon duoline to be good, in 3mm for a 40cc Husqvarna, long lasting cutting up to rough stone walls, and not splitting where it exits the head, unlike some other cords I've tried.
