Money well spent. Had a pair of strech air type c's that lasted for 4 years. Current Gladiators are a year old and still in very good shape.

Yes, I forgot the braces so I spread the delivery cost over another £100 order. I now have shiny new trooser with braces (£260...) and new rope!

If you've never wore stretchies (like me) you'll see why they're so expensive. They're made by people know what they're doing. Unlike Stihl HiFlex you won't feel like your wearing wet bog roll when its 25 degrees.

Love mine so much I could sleep in them....

Pfanner do not always know what they are doing, they make some utter crap over priced stuff that breaks in the wash, or is cheaply made with poor material at a premium price.

 

Having said that I have the Gladiator Vents type A and they are very good, better than the Arborists.

Did you buy them online or have you tried them on?

I had some gladiator vents, but after a few hours the fly zip detached, so had them replaced, Gustharts did a fantastic job of recommending the arborist vents as a replacement.

 

I thought the Gladiators were a massive step forward, but the Arborists are even better again! and they come with braces that velcro on, no more buckles sticking in when you are in harness.

I've had type A vents for about 2 years, never used the vents.

I didn't know they had them until someone pointed out I had fancy trousers!

If I need vents, I put on shorts and do something else!

They are very well made trousers.

No issues.

Got three pairs of type A vents . 2X grey and 1X red . Best strides ever and I have had a few .

The vent zippers just dig in the back of your legs particularly when driving.

 

Had the vents open last few days and cant say I have noticed any decrease in temperature around the elbow skin area.
