Drives up to big tree,
Arm cuts big branches off, puts them in the back,
Chogs down trunk into back.
All loaded.
One man in a morning.

how big a tree? - I can't see how you'd get all the crown in without getting in the back to mash it up with a saw, or is that a given?

any vids?

I was shown some YouTube videos earlier this year.
Tree was about 50' ish if I remember.
Big truck just put whole lot in the back.
It was an edited video so maybe he was in the back sawing.

Looks like the Americans can get a fair bit in. I'd say there was a fair few transit loads of brash and logs went in this video.

EDIT: Watch till the end, the trailer is the best bit. Just when you think hes running low on room in the back.

This was a job I majorly underestimated the amount of work involved, pictures don’t do it justice, the final cuts needed the 46 with 25” bar to finish off.

oak in decline, over new roof, new sewage system, fence, ornamental light etc, would have been a hard day rigging and humping material for a 3 man team plus extra day for one/2 cleaning up.

Called in a favor and it was done in 2 hours I think it was, plus a birch felled.

All fitted in the back.

and ended up being a very profitable morning rather than a  considerable loss
