I be interested to find out how much that would weigh.

Put 5 cube in a tranny and it's full up maybe 1.5 tonnes, i.e. Well over weight.

8 cube is maybe 2.5 tonnes give or take, meaning you could get another tonne of chip/wood on.

Willing to be proven wrong though.

Very nice, I'd never sacrifice capacity for a tool box again though.

Mick I dont think leavings saws and kit in the back of an open truck are an option anymore, sad state of affairs really . Very nice Simon, you must be chuffed with that:thumbup1:

Must admit i have just bolted chains to the inside of the tool box to run through saw handles as a bit of extra security, it been hard earned bob, just hope its as robust as it looks.

I was caught last year and fined for having 1.8t in the Iveco double cab almost 5m3

This prompted the purchase of the 7t.

The GM190 makes a finer chip which weighs more per m3 than the coarser stuff made by the Quadchip.

I've been to the weighbridge a few times and the 190's woodchip (Lawson cypress) weighs in at around 400kg per m3

When the 7t is full it sits very low but still manages to pull well enough.
