Just upgraded after I finally realised (after 8 years) my little Isuzu was struggling with the size of the chipper. This is pre bin build and I'm hoping to get that organised in the next few days. She's an oldy but pulls strong and good. Drove 40kms today all in sixth gear and didn't need to change down once. Pulls from 20kph in top. 5 tonne payload, 6.9 litre normally aspirated diesel.ImageUploadedByArbtalk1453100426.935804.jpg.856461b979da00af6d99ab2e397d849d.jpg

Looks strong. What's the licensing craic over there?

I know when I passed in Aus I could drive upto 4.5t, however this doesn't transfer onto UK license as we younguns are limited to 3.5t

Pretty much the same so I think you can drive this on a class one (car licence) if it's empty but need a class 2, which I think is up to about 13.5 tonne, if it's loaded or towing. Then you get into class 4 and 5. I have a class 2 so I'm OK. It's a big chunk of machinery and I'm still sweating the amount I'm spending on it but it should hold its value so if it doesn't work out for me I can sell it. My little truck has done me proud but it's about time I stopped asking so much of it.
