Just found it on tinternet. In September. I manage a holiday park so from 1april til 31 October I not allowed a day off . Happy f****g days that's another show I can't go to. I try to do saw work just in winter months but me thinks a change in career is needed.

Ive never abused that saw,in the tree im mathodical and sensable and more to the point it was a lot of money to me and i strugled and worked hard to buy the best chipper and top handle i could aford :laugh1:

Its only half way through its second chain at 3 months old, i was stood on a pole and went to start it (warm) and the whole top handle came away :confused1:

Ive mow got it back again and am £200 down on postage costs and the repair, if thats a warenty im a purple flying pig  Thanks Husky, next time i shall just drop my trousers and bend over for you :001_tongue: Or never buy another husky product where i can avoid it.

Rant over, normall service will carry on shortly(inc the bad spelling:laugh1:)

Interesting thread. Just ordered Echo 260 from Radmore + Tucker, (Saturday morning).Should be delivered to work on Tuesday morning, £302.50. May change to 1/4 pitch when first chain is worn out.

Please can you do us all a favour and start a thread about it when you start using the saw.

That will be very useful to everyone that's interested. It's better to have a dedicated thread raising points of interest rather than a slanging match.

Thanks.

Good idea I will. I won't be using it much til late September but I will post updates. First post could be start it up and run it through a few logs. If its bathing you in chain oil then take it straight back. They will exchange

The part number for the 1/4 sprocket is A556-000101, just for your referance, took me a while to get that little number and thought it may save you some time haha. It's well worth modding a bar from the ms150 to fit, makes such a huge differance!
