what you need is an Orec Rabbit ride on brushcutter. Anything it can push over it will cut!

loving that ride on brush cutter!!!

from the photos you showed us i think difflocks suggestion of the blade on a strimmer is best and you can cut it into rows then pike it up easly then finnish off with your mower. i cant see any cheap push or ride on coping with grass of that length. ( tell your customers to get it cut more frequently too) carl

I see your "Orec" Rabbit and raise you an "Etesia" Attila ride on brush cutter.

Truely phenomonal, both in respect of traction from a 2WD, and also a healthy/insatiable appitite for wallsteads, along with the brush.

cheers

any flat grass blade will do,a big brushcutter would be best but i have a smallish husqy strimmer (33 cc i think) and i have done loads of long grass like yours with a blade, just keep it sharp and pick away at it

I was going to suggest a shredding blade like we use at work these are great for anything tall or long reducing it to flat mulch quickly they are especially good on brambles.

But I did a quick search on Google 'mulching blades brush cutter' and found 3 tooth mulching blades, these look better for grass.

Using string is good but I always find I spend more time replacing/ untangling it than working!

Get the biggest stihl brush cutter u can these are great machines

I have a Stihl FS460 with oregon jet cut head. I run 2 lines for grass 4mm oregon flexiblade it slices through tough long grass very well and leaves little mess and lasts a long time befor braking. For brambles and thick brush I use 4 oregon flexiblade lines again gets through it very well and leaves little mess however it does get through some line if very thick.

This is the best methord I have found for long grass and brush the strimmer does seem to drink alot of fuel but its allways on the van and goes any where you want it to acsess is never a problem unlike rough mower!
